At Self-Secure, we strive to bring the very best in CCTV equipment straight to the end-user in the most cost effective and user friendly way. Initially a CCTV supply and installations company, we became increasingly concerned that existing self-install CCTV systems didn't meet our existing equipment standards, so we decided to design our own! Our systems are user friendly, incredibly easy to install, come with full phone and/or online support, and best of all- they come at very low prices!

Making A Purchase
Simply browse our store and add any items that you wish to buy to the shopping cart. When you are ready to pay for your goods, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept all major credit cards, and can take orders by phone. All credit card payments are processed via our on-line secure server for your complete peace of mind.

If you are shopping from outside the UK, simply place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Shipping And Handling
Shipping is charged automatically on a per weight basis. Shipping is free for orders of £600 or more.

Delivery Schedule
We endeavor to dispatch all stock items within two working days. Complete systems and larger orders are custom built and will be sent via a third party courier which will normally be dispatched within five working days. International orders are generally received in seven working days.

Back Orders
If your item(s) are not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added.

Credit Card Security
When the order is placed online, credit card details are encrypted via a third party secure server using 128 bit encryption. No CC details are forwarded to us, and they are not held in clear text on any web site.

When an order is placed over the phone, all CC details are destroyed once the order has been successfully processed.

Guarantee
We guarantee your satisfaction. All our products are protected against failure under the manufacturers warranty. Generally, this is 12 months unless otherwise stated. All of our cameras and digital video recorders come with a two year guarantee.

Returns Policy
We aim to ensure that our products are of the highest quality. However, if you do experience problems with your purchase, please call 0845 450 2519, and we will advise you on the best course of action.

We cannot be held responsible for any goods that are returned without an authorised returns number. This can be obtained by calling the number above.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that any returned goods are packed safely and securely, preferably in its original packaging, and that the goods are sent via a reputable, trackable courier service.

We will reimburse any carraige costs incurred due to faulty goods, however the customer is responsible for any costs incurred due to any fault caused by user error.
