Mobile Surveillance PDA Software Launched
WCCTV recently launched it’s new software allowing users to view Wireless CCTV equipment anywhere in the world via a PDA.
Running under Windows Mobile the new software allows users to remotely view live or archived footage via 3G or WIFI technology. The software also has functionalities to allow for the controlling of the equipment, pan, tilt, zoom all being available in real time.
Since the launch of the new CCTV technology, it has been utilised by forces such as the police whom are using it to great effect in multiple overt and covert operations.
