Children Raise Money for CCTV in Local Park
A group of youngster’s recently joined up with the local fire service to offer residents car washing services to raise enough money for funding of CCTV in their local play park.
The play area in Brampton, South Yorkshire has recently been subject to vandalism and residents have requested CCTV installations from the council with no reply.
The joint effort between the fire service and youngster’s has almost raised the £1000 required for the CCTV system and further plans are being put into place to reach the final amount.
The fire department said they were happy to help out as the park is right next to their station and their own experience of CCTV has seen a good return on the investment they made several years ago.
