CCTV to be Mandatory in Pubs
A new law to stop underage drinking will see the mandatory installation of CCTV cameras in pubs and bars.
As recommended by the Alcohol Advisory Group stricter rules are going to be enforced to stop underage drinking. Police will now be able to confiscate drink from anyone who appears to be under the age of 18 years old.
The new law also makes it possible for the police to use teenagers to carry out test purchases in such places as pubs and convenience stores.
