Bridlington CCTV Fundraiser
The historic old town of Bridlington is hoping to raise enough funds to buy CCTV equipment.
Having received £12,000 and then raising another £500 through fund-raising activities, the Old Town association needs another £7,500 to meet the cost of three CCTV surveillance cameras.
Launched just two weeks ago the first fund-raising event was a talk at the Old Starr Inn. More than 100 people attended to hear the speech by local historian John Walker.
The association, after being slightly disappointed with leaflet campaigns are planning for future events similar to the successful speech and hope to raise the remaining funds necessary.
