CCTV Technology manufacturers Geutebruck have recently developed a new storage device to reduce the cost of CCTV footage archiving.
The new CCTV system used for storing recorded data has what the company call a “Fading Memory” system, designed to reduce the quality of images over time as the importance of the footage drops.

Plans for a £400,000 CCTV network are being discussed by Sunderland City council. Funds will come from their Strategic Investment Plan agreed at it’s budget meeting earlier this year.
